About Me

I’m a lifelong Hutchinson, KS resident, with the exception of four years spent in Virginia while my husband served in the United States Marine Corps. Photography has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember—starting with a hot pink 110 film camera my parents bought me before a family trip to New York City.

My love for photography deepened when I purchased my first SLR film camera, a Canon Rebel 2000, while living in Virginia. When we moved back to Hutchinson in 2006, I began photographing my son’s sports, and that’s where I truly fell in love with sports photography. There wasn’t a game he played where I didn’t have my camera in hand.

After he graduated in 2019, I continued pursuing photography by working with his high school, supporting the yearbook staff, photographing school events, and capturing special moments for families in our community. I also freelance for local newspapers.

For the past five years, I’ve had the honor of serving as a staff photographer for the Kansas State Fair. I am also the tournament photographer for the NJCAA DI Men’s Basketball Tournament and the NJCAA DI Volleyball Tournament.

In recent years, I’ve expanded my work into senior portraits and family photography, and I’ve loved every moment of helping families document their stories.

I’m grateful for the families, friends, and organizations who trust me to capture their memories. Thank you for allowing me to be part of your history!
